This project is exceptionally hands-on, providing an incredible experience for those looking to get into social media marketing as well as the digital marketing industry. Our goal is to provide a valuable and tangible experience to you to be able to manage a company’s Social Media presence. About Us Wholistic Health Training is one of the oldest massage therapy training centres in Alberta, offering unique programs and dedicated to helping people with a combination of western and holistic medicine. About the Role/Your Responsibilities The Strategic Social Media Marketing Project Goals: Competitive Analysis and Landscape Assessment Conduct an audit of our current social media presence Social Content Calendar Development Develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement Create a content calendar Social Posting Create 3 social media posts a week with content and images for: Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Google My Business Monitoring analytics Track trends and performance Blog Development Create blogs for the website 1 Blog per week Compensation We will provide letters of recommendation and the opportunity to network and grow. Brand Marketing
Positions available: 3 ( in teams or individually) We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We need help from a student to help us create marketing pieces about our software applications that speak about our vision, values. The overall goal is to publish the marketing pieces which could be videos or ads, that will target potential clients through social media channels. They should incorporate the proper keywords and SEO to ensure that we are easy to find online. To accomplish this, we expect the student will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project. We're happy to work with 1-3 students and they are able to work in teams (240 hours).
SEO and Social Media Strategy
Positions available: 3 We are looking for a social media marketing support and those who can help drive more traffic to our website and improve our SEO positioning. The primary project requirements include: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization A strategy document to outline: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Creating engaging content for prominent media websites Working with tools and programs such as WIX We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve: "Being the top-ranked result for the keywords 'Nature and Forest Therapy and Biomimicry' This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
Digital Content Creation for TV Series
Positions available: 5 We would like students to help us with creating uplifting content, aligned with our vision and mission, to potentially be used in our "Hearts Open" segment of our new Spread Goodness® TV episodes. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. Spread Goodness® is a rising social networking platform that highlights the "GOOD" in our world through a new TV series and various viral challenges. Our mission is to uplift the vibration of the planet through acts of human kindness and generosity of spirit. We want to offset the negativity people are consuming on a regular basis by developing positive content that inspires to broadcast locally and through social media channels. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Work together in a 5+ student production team to highlight inspiring stories in your local community Conduct on-air interviews Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Develop and and execute a strategic action plan to build our social media following Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.
