Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program/course cover: Description of financial institutions and their role in financial markets Common financial risks, and the risk management tools that financial institutions employ in their operations. Functions of financial institutions, financial intermediation, measurement and management of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, solvency risk, as well as regulation of financial institutions and capital adequacy.
