Participants will conduct a comprehensive UX audit of the current website, identifying pain points in the customer journey. They will analyze conversion rates and propose actionable solutions to enhance user experience and increase sales. Additionally, learners will develop an SEO strategy to improve the site's visibility and attract more organic traffic. This project will enable participants to strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills while gaining hands-on experience in a real business environment.
Key tasks include:
- Conducting a UX audit of Kang's Boutique's online store.
- Identifying and analyzing pain points in the customer journey.

Tasks Students Will Complete
- Conducting an audit of Kang’s Boutique’s current e-commerce website (navigation, speed, checkout flow, product listings).
- Performing SEO research to improve organic traffic.
- Designing UX improvements to enhance the shopping experience (mobile optimization, product page design, cart flow).
- Analyzing customer data and behavior (heatmaps, Google Analytics, Shopify metrics).
- Developing recommendations for improving conversion rates (e.g., upselling, bundling, reviews integration).
- Proposing email marketing and loyalty program ideas to strengthen customer retention.
- Delivering a roadmap for scaling Kang’s Boutique’s e-commerce presence over the next 12 months.
Expected Outcomes and Deliverables
By the end of the 300-hour project, students should be able to:
- Deliver a comprehensive e-commerce audit report with identified strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
- Provide a keyword and SEO strategy plan.
