After running operations as a solopreneur for the first year, the Plantish family has grown a little and now we’re looking for a new team member to help us develop a B2B and/or B2C sales program. If you like engaging with customers and consider yourself an outgoing, independent, and reliable person we have a very refreshing opportunity for you!
We need assistance in developing a B2B and/or B2C sales outreach process as we grow our business to the next level. We would like to equip our future sales team with a plan that guides them in researching new prospects, identifying key contacts, and reaching out with compelling messages. We would like you to create a simple step-by-step strategy for prospecting in our target market.
The project may include, but is not limited to:
- Familiarizing with your business
- Students will build a quick understanding of your firm's industry, competitive space, and product/service. They will need up to one hour of your time but the more time you spend briefing them, the better the results will be.
- Market research presentation
- A preliminary market summary including key stakeholder identification, learnings from interviews + research, broad market opportunities, identification of strategic selling need, key market focus proposition
- Market assessment presentation
- Students will utilize their accumulated knowledge on your firm's market opportunity to give a presentation regarding potential industry focus, strategic selling need, and selecting a key market focus
- Sales recommendations report
- A list of your 20 top identified leads, including a deep dive analysis of the top 4-6 prospects + a list of sales recommendations with supporting executable action steps for your firm's start-up's consideration.
The final project deliverables are:
- A brief report detailing your research, recommended solutions, and an implementation plan.
- A Sales Handbook outlining the recommended sales process and strategy.
- A short presentation on the contents of the report and handbook.
It should assist our sales team in successfully prospecting within our target market with actionable recommendations that will increase sales conversions. The insights that you provide will help our team improve lead generation and increase conversion rates to drive more sales.
Ideally you are an eco conscious individual and you’ll help Plantish to expand our reach. You :
- Are a self-motivated individual who wants to inspire change!
- Are able to work independently and also collaborate as a team member
- Are outgoing and love meeting new people + communicating with those who share your eco values
- Capable of juggling a bunch of tasks and responsibilities
- Have strong communication skills and a general positive attitude and outlook
- Have strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects
We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We can also suggest names of competitors and comparators to research.

About the company
Plantish grows with folks who are exploring a vegan, plastic-free, plant-based way of living. From production to packaging, we intentionally explore low-impact, plant-based materials that perform better than plastic. Being makers ourselves, we also work with other makers here in Canada & US to develop zero waste products. Through trial and error, we establish best practices of using, caring and disposing of the products to share with our community.
