Our company, reFern, is an early-stage start-up. We are embarking on a journey to reinvent the second hand home goods marketplace. Our focus is on creating a sustainable, secure, and hassle-free community focused platform for buying and selling pre-loved pieces for day-to-day living.

We hope to update and revamp our existing website as a current landing page for curtomer attraction.

We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This will include front end coding and NOT using an existing website building service (ex. Wix).

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• UX/UI design , you will be supported by the team.
• Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content.
• Providing training on updating and maintaining the website.
• Collection of customer inputs

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

• Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

• Understanding of website platforms
• Comfortable with coding in HTML
• Development of a website
• Recommendations for website maintenance

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Our current products and website design
• Our customer and industry insights
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
